The Stewarding department is responsible for meticulously maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards in all areas of the kitchen, ensuring that operating procedures are maintained and adhered to at all times. This includes proper cleaning, handling and storage of dishes, kitchen utensils, silverware and kitchen equipment. The person in this position must have:
- A basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures for the food service industry.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- The ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Intermediate / advanced management of the English language.
