The Crew Welfare Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of crew activities and programs which enhance the onboard experience of our shipboard employees.
Some Hiring Requirements:
- Must be articulate and have public speaking skills and experience hosting events.
- A minimum of 2-5 years experience in the cruise line, resort, family camp or entertainment business/industry.
- Previous experience performing administrative duties such as data input, organizing paper and computer files, multi-tasking etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word, or related programs.
Responsibilities:
- 1. Coordination of a diverse calendar of activities that enhance the crew experience including sports, tours, education programs, etc.
- 2. Attendance at crew events to ensure an efficient set up, presentation, break down, and overall operation of crew programs.
- 3. Research and recommend new programs / activities
- 4. Development and maintenance of crew communication forums including the crew activity newsletter, notice boards etc..
- 5. Coordination of service loyalty programs such as Employee of the Month, You Made a Difference, etc.
- 6. Assisting the Crew Office with embarkation/disembarkation duties, 90-day immigration inspection, and passport distribution / collection (for foreign ports).
- 7. Hosts crew activities in a personable and outgoing manner
