We are looking for an Entertainment DJ to bring energy to onboard activities, parties and events, setting the right soundtrack and creating memorable guest experiences in line with brand standards.

Mandatory requirements

  • Understanding of guest-experience principles and hospitality operations.
  • A confident, charismatic and energetic stage presence, with genuine passion and the ability to mix a range of music styles.
  • Strong social, communication and hosting skills.
  • A clear, concise CV outlining professional experience.
  • A short presentation video that authentically reflects personality and public-speaking ability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide the soundtrack for key activities, parties and events, shaping the right atmosphere for each moment while following health, safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Deliver a consistent, excellence-driven experience by engaging with guests, building rapport and maintaining a professional presence and appearance at all times.
  • Own the assigned experience area and work with the Entertainment team to develop and execute initiatives, anticipating guest needs.
  • Stay knowledgeable about product, policies, itinerary and ports to add musical expertise and enhance the onboard experience.
  • Ensure venues are properly set up, styled and operated, care for assigned equipment, use consumables responsibly and cross-promote onboard services.

Pre-boarding

Upon completing the previous stage, you will be directed to the embarkation department, entered into the system of each cruise company, and will start the necessary documentation process (visas, medical exams, criminal records, and other certifications or documents as required by each company).

You will be awaiting an embarkation date which will occur within 3 to 5 months after completing the aforementioned documentation.

In the event that you decide not to proceed with the process, the vacancy will be offered to another candidate, and if you wish to resume later on, you will need to start the process from the beginning.

Your Selection Partners boarding administrator will provide you with all the necessary info such as your flight specifications, details of your boarding, emergency contacts and transport contacts, hotel details, and everything required for you to board safely.
