Assistant Casino Host

We are looking for an Assistant Casino Host to support the onboard Casino Host across all areas of Casino Marketing and VIP Services. It is a guest-facing role focused on creating memorable experiences and a lively atmosphere on the casino floor.

Mandatory requirements

  • Minimum of two years in sales or front-line guest service.
  • Previous experience in marketing, customer service and/or casino (preferred).
  • High standard of writing and professional conduct.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (and Mac OS) and in player-tracking systems and databases.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, and a good command of English.
  • Previous experience aboard cruise ships, 4/5-star hotels or fine-dining restaurants.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the Casino Host across all areas of Casino Marketing and VIP Services: administrative tasks and reporting, pre- and post-cruise preparations, player and rewards program, advertising and signage, tournaments, promotions, special events and casino groups.
  • Create and maintain an engaging, entertaining casino atmosphere, maximizing guest interaction on the floor.
  • Recruit and enroll players into the rewards program (Club Rewards) and deliver first-class VIP services.
  • Support and upsell casino tournaments, events and promotions.
  • Track player activity, rewards and tier level, and issue benefits and complimentaries (comps).
  • Prepare and manage daily, weekly and end-of-voyage reports in line with company policies and standards.
  • Operate and maintain the casino marketing systems, and organize guest preparations and amenities.
  • Ensure materials, signage and announcements are accurate and current.
  • Manage inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Act as Casino Host when required.

Pre-boarding

You will be awaiting an embarkation date which will occur within 3 to 5 months after completing the aforementioned documentation.

In the event that you decide not to proceed with the process, the vacancy will be offered to another candidate, and if you wish to resume later on, you will need to start the process from the beginning.
